Not such a Wordless Wednesday

A huge thank you goes to all of our service men and women. Happy Veteran’s Day! A single day of celebration and recognition is hardly enough to acknowledge all the sacrifices these people make for us.
They sacrifice months and years of regular life. They sit in the middle of hot deserts, crawl through swamps, caravan through ice storms. They sacrifice relationships, memories of their children, and Holiday’s. They sacrifice their knees, their backs, and their life’s. They sacrifice mental stability, homecooked meals, and sleep.
Friends and loved ones have shared some of their stories with me. You get a story about a camel spider… that’s kind of funny. You get a story about the kids standing on the side of the road and how they don’t know if that child is holding a bomb… that’s sad. You get a story about a caravan and the soldier watching their friends lay down their life in that instant.
Thank you to all the men and women of every branch of service for protecting our freedoms.
