About the Momma Hen-Updated!
Q: Why Momma Hen?
A: Well, it was the cheesy choice that I made. For some reason I was thinking of what I wanted as my Blog being self, and I thought of Momma Hen because I’m a momma, and I rule the roost, and well, Hen is short for my last name. So, it fit.
Q: What will you write about?
A: A huge collection of things, most all pertaining to my life. Traveling, my three year old, my ten year old, my marriage, some things about my family, school, work, and my opinions.
Q: You’ve mentioned you are a student. What are you studying?
A: I’m working on my Bachelors of Social Work (BSW). I’m still not sure where I want my definitive focus to be, but I know that it will most likely involve battered women, neglected children, or Civil Rights for LGBT individuals.
Q: Wait… which is it? Are you a student? or a stay at home mom?
A: Well, actually I’m a stay at home mom for the time being. When we found out I was expecting Baby 3 in April of 2010 I talked to DH about just focusing on the pregnancy and the kids (and I suppose the housekeeping too *sigh*). I had begun to question my direction with my degree as the time drew closer to committing to my main focus within the program so this is serving a dual purpose to recollect my driving force, and spend some quality time with the children with little distraction.
